You can’t go wrong with these delicious pumpkin-themed chocolate dipped pretzels, bats, and mummies. They are so easy to make and use inexpensive ingredients that most people already have on hand. Plus, they’ll be a hit at your next Halloween party! The candy eyes make them creepy and fun!
Equipment You’ll Need To Make The Halloween Dipped Pretzels
All you need to make these Halloween-dipped pretzels is some parchment paper, a baking sheet, and a couple of medium-size bowls to hold the melted chocolate or candy melts.
Ingredients You’ll Need For Your Pumpkin Dipped Pretzels
- 24 Mini Pretzels
- 1/2 cup Orange Candy Melts (can use orange-colored pumpkin spice chips or white chocolate with orange gel coloring)
- 24 Green Chocolate Chips (or can use green sixlets or green jelly beans cut in half)
Ingredients You’ll Need For Your Mummy Pretzels
- 24 Mini Pretzels
- 1/2 cup White Candy Melts (or white chocolate chips)
- 24 Candy Eyeballs
Ingredients You’ll Need For Your Bats Pretzels
- 24 Mini Pretzels
- 1/2 cup Black Candy Melts (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
- 24 Candy Eyeballs
How To Make Halloween Pumpkin Pretzels
- Cover a cutting board or cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Place the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 20 seconds. Stir well and reheat as needed, until smooth and completely melted.
- Use a fork or candy coating tool to individually dip each pretzel into the melted candy coating. Allow the excess candy coating to drip back into the bowl before placing the pretzel on the prepared cutting board. Repeat with all pretzels.
- Place the green chocolate chip at the top of the pretzel where the two arches meet.
- Allow candy coating to dry completely before serving or storing, about 30 minutes to one hour.
How to Make Halloween Pretzel Mummies
- Cover a cutting board or cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Place the candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 20 seconds. Stir well and reheat as needed, until smooth and completely melted.
- Use a fork or candy coating tool to individually dip each pretzel into the melted candy coating. Allow the excess candy coating to drip back into the bowl before placing the pretzel on the prepared cutting board. Repeat with all pretzels.
- Take a toothpick and get a glob of the candy melt on the end and make two dots where you want to put the eyes(at the top of the pretzel is best so the center can mimic a mouth). Place a candy eye on top of the candy melt or chocolate and press down firmly.
- Repeat this process with the rest of the pretzels.
- Allow candy coating to dry completely before serving or storing, about 30 minutes to one hour.
