How To Make Tye Dye Cookies
- Put butter and sugar into a large bowl. Use an electric mixer to blend these for five minutes.
- Now, add eggs and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix them together.
- Take another bowl and put all the dry ingredients in it. Mix them.
- Now, combine the butter mix with the dry ingredients. Combine them well.
- Divide dough into three separate bowls.
- In one small bowl, add some red food coloring. Blend the color into the dough using your hands.
- In the second bowl, add some black drops of food coloring. Use your hands to mix the color into the dough.
- Lastly, cut three pieces of parchment paper. Each should be about 13 inches by 11 inches.
Layer The Cookie Dough For Mickey Tye Dye Cookies
- Place parchment paper on the counter.
- Position the red dough ball on the paper’s center and cover it with another parchment paper.
- Roll out dough to be 11 in x 9 in and about ¼ inches thick using a rolling pin. Place it on a cookie sheet. (Photo 1)
- Repeat the steps with black and non-colored dough.
- Chill each dough sheet in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- After chilling, remove the top parchment paper of one dough layer and sprinkle water drops on it.
- Layer the second dough sheet on top; color does not matter. (Photo 2)

- Trim edges to form an even rectangle with a knife.
- Roll the layered dough lengthwise into a log and cover with plastic wrap. (Photo 4)
- Refrigerate the log for an hour.
Baking The Cookies
- Take out the dough and heat the oven to 350℉ degrees.
- Slice the dough into 1/2-inch rounds and place on a cookie sheet.
- Flatten the dough for the cookie cutter if needed.
- Cut out Mickey shapes with cutters from the dough rounds.
- Bake cookies at 350 degrees for 10-13 minutes in the middle of oven until light golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on a wire rack after baking.
- Melt white chocolate in a bowl in the microwave. Transfer the melted chocolate to a piping bag and cut the tip.

- 2 sticks unsalted sweet cream butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Red and black food coloring
- 1 cup (226 g) Ghirardelli white chocolate melting wafers

How To Make Tye Dye Cookies
