Place chicken in the crockpot. Add the peppers to the crockpot and pour the pepper juice (or broth) over the chicken.
Sprinkle the seasoning packets over top of the chicken.
Slice the butter and place it all over the chicken. Secure the lid on the crockpot and set heat to high for 3.5 to 4 hours, or low for 7-8 hours.
Shred the chicken and remove all bones. Serve on rice, potatoes, or as sandwiches.
