Salt and Pepper

Instructions
Pat, the salmon, fillets dry with a paper towel.
Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper, and lemon zest, to taste.
Use two strips of bacon to wrap each salmon fillet, overlapping the strips slightly to ensure even coverage after the salmon bakes.
Set your oven to broil.
Place a skillet over medium heat.
Once the skillet is hot, place the bacon-wrapped salmon in the pan and cook 2-3 minutes until bacon is lightly browned.
Flip salmon and cook for 2 minutes.
Place the skillet in the oven and broil for 3-4 minutes until bacon is cooked to your liking and salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145F.
Drizzle the salmon with maple syrup and brush with a pastry brush to ensure even coverage.
