Welcome! I’m Kim!
Nice to meet you. I’m so glad you stopped by!
I started this website in 2017 after realizing I was afraid of heights and standing on rooftops wasn’t an option as a way to share my easy recipes, delicious desserts, and holiday favorites.
I’ve always had a true passion for helping others. That’s why I started this blog: to lend a hand in guiding everyone through the wonders of the kitchen with easy, mouthwatering homemade recipes! No need to spend countless hours – let’s make cooking a breeze!
Since you’re growing familiar with me and my musings, I consider you a friend.
I’m a mom, wife, and dog lover. I have (2) dogs, both are labs. I live in Arizona, southeast of Phoenix, in a town once known as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World.” It is also called the biggest town in the United States.
I’m ridiculously positive and energetic and love gathering around the kitchen table with family and friends.
I love random facts and trivia, and my favorites are oatmeal raisin cookies from Panera® and chocolate chip ice cream from Baskin-Robbins®. If there is dark chocolate involved, count me in!
Life’s too short to make bad food! Let’s indulge together!

More About Kim & the Blog
My parents threw parties all summer long as a kid. We had lots of fun, great food, and conversations that have become fond memories. So, being able to have almost an online party of fun recipes and great food is a form of sharing my love for food.
I was raised with Irish and Italian cooking roots, so I acquired my culinary skills and expertise from both generations. As a result, you’ll discover that many of my recipes are centered around comforting, classic dishes cherished within our family for years. You will find a lot of comfort food recipes and kid-friendly meals. There are many incredible and inspiring healthy food blogs available to explore!
You will get a handful of new recipes to try out every week. I am always creating and developing new recipes for you all to try. So make sure to return often for all the new recipes waiting for you to try!
If you’re a blogger working on a round-up, I’d be thrilled to be featured! Feel free to use a photo along with a link (Do-Follow). A reminder: I kindly ask you to omit any ingredients and directions. Thank you for being so understanding!
You will find a convenient print button above each recipe’s servings, prep time, and total time. This makes it easy to print out the recipe for your reference quickly.
Sign up for my email newsletter for regular updates, enticing new recipes, and more! Be sure to confirm your email to claim your complimentary gift. Don’t miss out on all the deliciousness coming your way!
If a recipe doesn’t yield the desired results, it can be challenging to pinpoint the exact cause without being present in your kitchen.
Here are some steps you can follow:
– Review the recipe and its listed ingredients thoroughly to ensure nothing has been overlooked.
– Avoid substitutions when trying a new recipe as they may impact the outcome.
– Read both the reader comments and the comprehensive description for valuable tips and insights.
– If you need further assistance, comment directly on the recipe page.
We’ll try to troubleshoot and help you; others can benefit from your question, too.
Please note that the nutrition information for each recipe is an estimate and can vary depending on factors such as cooking methods and ingredient brands. It is important to remember that this information should not be regarded as medical advice. If you need more precise calculations, numerous online nutritional calculators are available. Lately, I have found verywellfit.com to be an excellent resource.
While no one is perfect, the occasional typo may make an appearance. Feel free to reach out via email at [email protected]. Your support is highly appreciated!
