More About Kim

I’m a mom, a wife, and a proud dog mom to two lovable labs who keep life entertaining. I live in Arizona, just southeast of Phoenix, in a town once known as the “Hay Shipping Capital of the World”, and famously one of the biggest towns in the United States.

I’m ridiculously positive, a little high-energy, and happiest when I’m gathered around the kitchen table with family and friends, sharing good food and even better conversation.

I also love random facts and trivia, and I have a serious soft spot for a few favorites, oatmeal raisin cookies from Panera® and chocolate chip ice cream from Baskin-Robbins®. And if there’s dark chocolate involved… I’m absolutely in.

More About Kim & the Blog

What made you enjoy sharing recipes?

As a kid, my parents threw parties all summer long. We had lots of fun, great food, and conversations that have become fond memories. So, being able to have almost an online party of fun recipes and great food is a form of sharing my love for food.

Do you have healthy recipes?

Very few. I was raised with Irish and Italian cooking roots, so I acquired my culinary skills and expertise from both generations. As a result, you’ll discover that many of my recipes are centered around comforting, classic dishes cherished within our family for years. You will find many comfort food recipes and kid-friendly meals. There are many incredible and inspiring healthy food blogs available to explore!

How often do you add new recipes?

You will receive a handful of new recipes to try out every week. I am always creating and developing new recipes for you all, so make sure to return often to see what’s new!

Can I use a recipe/photo in a roundup?

If you’re a blogger working on a round-up, I’d be thrilled to be featured! Feel free to use a photo along with a link (Do-Follow). A reminder: Please omit any ingredients and directions. Thank you for being so understanding!

How can we print your recipes?

You will find a convenient print button right of the yield of each recipe under servings, prep time, and total time. This makes it easy to print out the recipe for your reference quickly.

How can I get your recipes?

When you subscribe to my email newsletter, I will send you regular updates, delicious new recipes, and more!

I tried your recipe, but it didn’t work. Can you tell me why?

If a recipe doesn’t yield the desired results, it can be challenging to pinpoint the exact cause without being present in your kitchen.
To ensure a successful cooking experience, follow these steps:
1. Carefully review the recipe and check all listed ingredients for potential oversights.
2. When experimenting with new recipes, it’s best to avoid substitutions as they can significantly affect the outcome.
3. Take advantage of the reader’s comments and detailed descriptions to gain valuable tips and insights.
4. Comment directly on the recipe page if you require additional assistance. We’ll try to troubleshoot and help you; others can benefit from your question, too.

Can you share the nutritional details with me?

Please note that the nutrition information for each recipe is an estimate and can vary depending on factors such as cooking methods and ingredient brands. It is important to remember that this information should not be regarded as medical advice. If you need more precise calculations, numerous online nutritional calculators are available. Lately, I have found verywellfit.com to be an excellent resource.

You have some typos!

While no one is perfect, the occasional typo may occur. Feel free to reach out via email at community@kimschob.com. Your support is highly appreciated!
