Magically delicious is what you will find in this ChocolateLucky Charms bark! This crispy treat is made with white chocolate bark that is rainbow-colored and topped with Lucky Charms kids cereal and festive sprinkles. Break up the white chocolate and put it in a microwave-safe bowl. Melt it on low, stirring every half minute until smooth. Or, use a double boiler to melt it.
Take 2-3 tablespoons of the melted chocolate and put them in two separate bowls. Add a drop of different food coloring to each and mix.
Spread the rest of the white chocolate on a baking sheet with an icing spatula or spoon.
Drop spoonfuls of the colored chocolate on the white chocolate. Use a skewer to mix the colors.
Put Lucky Charms marshmallows and sprinkles on top before the chocolate hardens.
Let the chocolate set for 30-45 minutes at room temperature or 15-30 minutes in the fridge.
After the chocolate hardens, cut it into bars with a knife or break it up by hand.
Notes
Use good quality chocolate: The quality of chocolate you use will directly affect the taste of the bark. So, use high-quality chocolate to get a better taste and texture.
Melt the chocolate slowly: When melting the chocolate, make sure to do it slowly and in a low heat setting, stirring regularly. Overheating the chocolate can cause it to become grainy or lumpy.
Use parchment paper: Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the chocolate from sticking to the pan and making it easier to remove the bark once it’s set.
Add inclusions after swirling: If you’re adding toppings like nuts, candies, or dried fruits, add them only after swirling the chocolate so that they adhere well to the melted chocolate and don’t sink to the bottom.
Don’t overload the bark: While it’s tempting to add a lot of toppings, don’t overload the bark, as it can become difficult to break apart or cut into neat pieces.
Let it cool properly: After adding the toppings, let the bark cool down properly before cutting or breaking into pieces. This will help it set properly and avoid any cracks or breaks.
