Start by preheating your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. While the oven heats up, line your 9x13 baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the pretzel snaps in neat rows on the prepared baking sheet, placing them as close together as possible to fit all 60 pieces. Unwrap all 60 Hershey's Hugs and place one in the center of each pretzel snap.
Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for exactly 10 minutes. The Hugs should be soft and slightly melted but still holding their shape when you remove them. Working quickly while the chocolate is still warm, press a candy eye into the center of each Hug using your fingers or a pair of baking tweezers if you have them.
Let the eyeballs rest on the counter for about 2 hours, or until the chocolate has completely cooled and hardened again. The candy eyes will settle into the chocolate and create that perfect creepy eyeball look.

Unwrap the Hugs ahead of time to make the assembly process go much faster when you're working with warm chocolate
Don't overbake or the chocolate will melt completely and lose its shape - you want it just soft enough to press the candy eyes in
Use tweezers to place the candy eyes more precisely and keep your fingers clean, though this is totally optional
