Wash, core, and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces, leaving the skin on. Set aside one cup of chopped apples for topping.
Cut the Snickers into bite-sized pieces and set aside one chopped bar for topping.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and milk until thickened
Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture until smooth and fully combined.
Add the remaining chopped apples and Snickers to the pudding mixture.
Carefully fold the apples and Snickers into the pudding mixture until everything is evenly coated.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
Transfer the salad to a serving dish, top with the reserved apples and Snickers, and drizzle caramel sauce over the top. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Do not garnish if storing the salad. Only garnish when ready to serve.
Do not freeze.
Customize the amount and type of apples and candy bars to suit your preferences.
For a richer flavor, use cheesecake-flavored pudding instead of vanilla.
The salad is traditionally made with unpeeled apples, but you can peel them if you prefer.
