These Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls are a great semi-homemade recipe. With flaky dough, and a buttery brown sugar filling, they are a great way to start off your day.
In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, white sugar, and cinnamon.
Roll the crescent roll dough onto a clean working surface. Pinch together the seams to make a rectangle.
Brush the melted butter over the top of the dough, and then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of the metled butter in an even layer.
Tightly roll the dough into a log, and then slice into 8 equal pieces.
Preheat the air fryer to 320℉ degrees for 5 minutes.
Place the cinnamon rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket with space between them.
Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Meanwhile, whisk the powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze. Add more milk if needed to desired consistency.
Drizzle the glaze over the top of the cinnamon rolls while they are still warm.
Sevre and enjoy.
Notes
If you prefer, you can soften the butter and then mix it with the cinnamon and sugar. Then, spread that mixture onto the dough for your filling.
The crescent roll dough sheets, are hard to find, however if your store has them, they work great for this recipe, because you don't need to worry about pinching the seams together.
Use a sharp knife to slice the log into an even-sized piece.
Depending on the size of your air fryer basket, you may need to make these in batches. Don't overcrowd your air fryer basket.
For easy cleanup, you can line your air fryer basket with a piece of parchment paper.
