Insert each donut onto a cake lollipop stick and set aside.
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler, small saucepan, or microwave, with a separate bowl for each flavor. Place sprinkles in a bowl and set aside.
Dip each donut hole in the chocolate, shake off the excess, add sprinkles, and place in the cake pop stand to set.
Repeat for all cake pops.
Once the chocolate has set, serve and enjoy!
Notes
Use Parchment Paper: Place parchment paper underneath your cake pop stand or cooling area to catch any dripping chocolate and make cleanup easy.
Ensure Smooth Chocolate: If the chocolate is too thick for dipping, add a small amount of coconut oil or shortening to thin it out to the desired consistency.
Even Coating: To achieve an even coating, dip the donut hole into the chocolate and gently tap the stick against the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
Sticking Issues: If the cake pops slide off the stick, try dipping the stick in a bit of melted chocolate before inserting it into the donut hole for a stronger hold.
Cooling Time: If you're in a hurry, place your cake pops in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
Room-Temperature Ingredients: To prevent the chocolate from cracking, make sure the donut holes are at room temperature before dipping.
Decorating Piping: For intricate decorations, use a ziplock bag with a small snip at the corner as a piping bag to drizzle on melted chocolate or icing.
