Instructions
Make the Chocolate Pudding
Whisk pudding mix and cold milk together for 2 minutes until thickened.
Refrigerate 10 minutes to fully set.
Transfer into a piping bag fitted with a round tip (optional).
Prepare the Oreo “Soil”
Crush Oreo cookies in a food processor until they resemble fine soil. If you don't have a food processor, you can put them in a large Ziploc bag and bash them with a rolling pin.
Make the Whipped Cream
In a chilled bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
Transfer to a piping bag fitted with a star tip (optional for a decorative swirl).
Assemble the Dirt Cups
Spoon a layer of Oreo crumbs into clear cups or serving glasses.
Add a layer of chocolate pudding.
Add a layer of diced strawberries.
Pipe or spoon a layer of whipped cream.
Add a thin layer of Oreo crumbs.
Repeat with another layer of pudding, finishing with a generous layer of Oreo “soil” on top.
Chill until serving.
Just Before Serving
Add a gummy worm to each cup, partially tucking it into the soil.
Add a small mint sprig for a fresh “garden” look.
Nestle something from the garden - an edible small flower, or a couple of thin strawberry slices - gently into the top layer.
Notes
Use food-safe flowers: Only add edible, pesticide-free flowers to the cups, not random ones from the backyard!
Add candy last: Gummy worms and candy decorations can get sticky in the refrigerator, so add them on top right before serving.
Choose the right cups: Smaller cups make neater party portions, while larger jars give you more room for extra layers.
Don't over-decorate: Less is more, so aim for a cute little garden look, not "the weeds won".
