Ingredients
6
Oreo cookies
plus 6 more if you want double-cookie sandwiches
1
bar
Hershey’s Chocolate
1.55-ounce
6
large marshmallows
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and preheat the oven broiler to low.
Break the chocolate bar into rectangles along the perforations.
Twist the Oreo cookies apart and arrange 6 of the cookie halves on the baking sheet.
Add 2 rectangles of chocolate on top of each cookie half and then add a marshmallow on top.
Broil for 1 to 3 minutes, watching all the time, until the marshmallows are lightly golden and puffy.
Remove from the oven and immediately add another Oreo cookie half on top of each one, pressing down gently to form a sandwich.
Let the Oreo s’mores cool for a couple of minutes before serving so the marshmallow can set slightly and won’t ooze out so much when eaten.
Notes
Divide the chocolate evenly:
Equal pieces melt at the same rate.
Leave some space:
Keep the sandwiches apart so the puffed marshmallows don’t touch, otherwise your s'mores will stick together.
Use fresh marshmallows:
Older marshmallows can be dry and may not puff or stretch as well.
