Pot Of Gold Jello Shots are a fruity jello shot that is then topped with whipped cream and a rainbow candy and of course gold sprinkles. This St. Patrick's day jello shot is a whole new level of delicious. This is a whisky jello shot that is going to elevate your party.
In a small pan, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add Jell-O mix and whisk until dissolved. (If using alcohol).
Remove from heat and whisk in 1 more cup of cold water and the whisky. Place shot glasses on a tray and pour in jello mixture until about ⅔ full.
Refrigerate for about 2 hours or until fully set
Top each cup with whipped cream and a rainbow piece.

Notes
Jello - You can use any flavor of jello you would like. For yellow lemon or pineapple work. But you could even do blue or other colors. Whipped Cream - Don't add the whipped cream till you are about to serve as it will break down and become watery. Rainbow Candy - Cut and add a strip or create a rainbow shape and stick in the cool whip to hold shape. Alcohol - You can use any alcohol you want. Rum, Tequila, Whiskey, or even Vodka. Feel free to swap it out and use the same amount of alcohol called in recipe. Storing - Store the jello shots in the fridge until you are ready to serve. They will last around 4-7 (without whipped cream) days when refrigerated properly.
