  • Halloween Oreos – You can also use any type of Oreos that you want.
  • French Vanilla Cake Mix – If you want to change up the cake mixture, do so!
  • Whole Milk  – I like using whole milk because of the extra added richness.
  • Canola Oil -You can easily use coconut oil or avocado oil as well.
  • Eggs – Used to bind all the dry ingredients together to make the cake batter.
  • Halloween Sprinkles – You can even add some candy eyes!

How To Make Halloween Oreo Bars

Step One: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prep a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Chop the Oreos. Set aside.

Step Two: Spread half of the chopped Oreos over the bottom of the baking dish. Add the cake mixes, eggs, oil, and milk to a large mixing bowl. Use an electric mixer to incorporate these ingredients. This will be thick. (Photo 1)

Step Three: Add the cup of sprinkles to the cake batter. Mix well. Pour the cake batter on top of the crushed Oreos. Pour it from one end of the baking pan to the other end. Spray the offset spatula with nonstick baking spray. Work carefully so that the Oreos don’t move. (Photo 2)

Step Four: Use the spatula to slowly and carefully spread the batter. Make sure that the batter covers all four corners of the baking pan. Add more chopped Oreos to the top of the cake batter. Press those Oreos in the cake batter. 

Step Five: Sprinkle the rest of the Halloween sprinkles on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check to see if the bars are baked at the 20-minute mark. Insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean, the bars are done. (Photo 3)

Step Six: Allow to cool in the pan before cutting. (Photo 4)

Storing Leftovers

You need to keep leftovers stored in the fridge. Add plastic wrap or cover with a lid for storing. These spooky treats should be good for 2-3 days.

Tips and tricks

Add cool whip – If you want to add a fun topping, add cool whip! There’s always room for it!

Drizzle on some melted chocolate – You can never have too much chocolate. Ever.

Add other candy – Add some Reese’s pieces to change it up a bit!

These Halloween Oreo Cake Bars are such a fun and simple treat! Perfect for a spooky dessert that everyone is going to love!

Ingredients 

  • 1 package Halloween Oreos

  • ½ cup (122 g) whole milk
  • ½ cup (112 g) canola oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (160 g) Halloween sprinkles

Instructions
