The Neapolitan Rice Krispies do not require refrigeration. Store them in an airtight container to keep them fresh. However, if you reside in a humid region, you may want to keep these goodies chilled to avoid them from becoming sticky.

Why do my Rice Krispies get stale?

If you add more butter, your Rice Krispie treats will have a strange soggy texture and stale taste. Try using less butter next time. If you’re cooking with margarine, that could make your Krispies have that stale taste.
