  • Unsalted butter – If you have to use salted butter, you can, but it will make the shrimp really salty.
  • Minced garlic – Garlic powder can work in a pinch if you don’t have fresh garlic.
  • Jumbo shrimp – Use plump shrimp that is already deveined.
  • Large lemon – Fresh lemon squeezed over the top is delicious.
  • Ground cumin – The perfect ingredient to bring out the flavor.

How To Make this Lemon Garlic Shrimp Recipe

Step One: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step Two: Add shrimp to skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until shrimp start to turn pink.

Step Three: Add lemon zest, lemon juice, and ground cumin to the skillet and stir to combine thoroughly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and remove from heat.

Step Four: Spoon shrimp mixture over a bed of cooked quinoa, brown rice, or your favorite gluten-free pasta. Drizzle some pan juices over each serving and garnish with fresh chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!

This Lemon Butter Garlic Shrimp is the perfet way to cook shrimp! It's flavorful, simple, and yummy!

Ingredients 

  • 3 Tbs Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Tbs garlic minced
  • 1 lb (453 ⅗ g) Jumbo shrimp 10/15 ct., peeled, deveined, and tail removed
  • 1 lemon large, zest and juice
  • 1 Tbs ground cumin

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
