Tips For Godiva Chocolate Whoopie Pies
- I recommend using baking spray and not cooking spray for easy removal of your whoopie pies.
- If you don’t have a whoopie pie pan you can also use a baking sheet with a small measured amount of batter spread apart.
- When making your sandwiches try to match up the sizes as best as you can. This will help keep your edge pieces from breaking off once assembled.
Substitutions and Variations
- Instead of chocolate filling, you can make vanilla filling for a more traditional whoopie pie.
- Can’t find Godiva chocolates? Use a Hershey’s or Dove’s heart instead.
- You can roll the edges of the filling in Valentine’s sprinkles or Red Hots for more Valentine’s Day flare.
- Add more flavor to your recipe using cherry or strawberry extract in your frosting.
