Do you love Rolo candies as much as I do? If so, then you are going to want to also make these 3-Ingredient Turtle Rolo Pretzels With Pecans and these Christmas Rolo Pretzel Bites. You can’t go wrong with either recipe!

Reasons You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Flavorful: These festive treats are colorful, crunchy, and full of sweet and salty flavors, which means they are perfect for cookie exchanges.
  • Budgt-friendly: Plus, you only need a few ingredients so you don’t have to spend a lot of money at the grocery store to make it.
  • Sweet: With the sweet creamy caramels in the center, they are bite-sized treats that are guaranteed to satisfy your sweet tooth.
  • Easy to Make: Lastly, no real cooking is required, which means that even beginners can make them.

Recipe Ingredients

Four bowls with Rolos, pretzels, sprinkles, and white chocolate wafers.

Ingredient Notes:

  • Pretzel snaps – I like to use the square waffle pretzels; you can use twists as well.
  • Rolo’s – I used the milk chocolate Rolos. You can also use the Salted Caramel Dark Chocolate Rolos.
  • White candy melts – Ghirardelli is my favorite brand. Wilton or store-brand will also work.
  • Sprinkles – I used a mix of festive Christmas sprinkles. Use whatever type you have on hand or colors that suit your event.

See the recipe card below for a complete list of ingredients and measurements.

Substitutions and Additions

  • Festive: For extra festive sandwiches, use Christmas Tree shaped pretzels instead of the mini pretzels. They make such an easy treat.
  • Chocolate: Instead of dipping your sandwiches into white candy melts, you can also dip them into milk or dark chocolate. I just think that white gives them such a festive look.
  • Toppings: Sawp out the sprinkles for chopped cookies or chopped nuts to personalize these bite-size treats.
  • Different candies: You can use your favorite miniature candies in place of the Rolo candies. Reese’s Cups, Milky Way bars, or Hershey’s Kisses will work.

Recipe Tips

  • You do not want the candy to melt completely in the oven, so watch them closely, as oven cooking times can vary.
  • If you don’t have room in your fridge for them to chill, they can cool down on the counter; they will just need about double the chill time.
  • Make sure that you work quickly with the sprinkles so that the chocolate doesn’t harden before you add them.

Storing Tips

  • Refrigerator: Store your leftover sausage corn chowder in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. This creamy soup reheats well, so make sure to reheat the leftovers.
  • Freezing: You can freeze leftovers, but they may separate a bit and change texture slightly. They can be frozen for 2-3 months to be used on a chilly day.
  • Reheating: To reheat, warm it in the microwave or a skillet on the stove until heated.
